Much of the ranch’s rugged terrain shares characteristics of their native South Africa, and aided by a supplemental feeding program, the Shonto Gemsbok matures as a wild and elusive beast of magnificent stature. Gemsbok hunts in Texas are available year-round and can be hunted in Texas without the long flights and security issues found in other countries.

These Gemsbok Oryx are big animals, some more than 500 pounds, with dagger-like horns that can push past the 38-inch mark. Daily Guiding Fee: $250/Hunter/Day
Your booking reserves our ranch EXCLUSIVELY for you and your hunting guests (2 or more Trophies).
Corporate Groups are always welcomed at Shonto Ranch.
Animals that are wounded will be charged the same fees as if killed.
Skinning & Quarter is $50 per animal.
